Jim Kucher - The Capitalist Redemption
Doing well vs. doing good. Making money or making a difference. Mortal enemies no longer, these two opposing goals are now not just reconciled, but joined together in a potent mixture that is now brewing in projects large and small, around the globe. Social Enterprise, Creative Capitalism, Social Benefit Organization, Sustainable Business, Capitalism 2.0, Social Entrepreneurship. Call it what you will, the bottom line is that the market and the mission can be aligned to bring about self-funded ventures that produce lasting social impact. Imagine all the people, using the market to feed the world. It can be done. It is being done. Six blocks from Joe Squared. I’ll tell you how.
