Exploring the american landscape as it relates to the energy industry. As an independent observer of the landscape, Eileen works with traditional media of drawing and painting as well as new media such as digital manipulation of photography and installation, to explore the American and global relationship with power and energy. She explores simple yet powerful ways to create a dialogue that helps us understand issues such as mass consumption, technology, and the environment surrounding a power industry.
Visual artist Eileen Wold has exhibited her work in New York, D.C. and Baltimore and is currently pursuing her MFA in Studio Art at The Maryland Institute College of Art.
